Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a safe and relaxing weekend.
As of right now this is what I know about the AP classes: College Board is aware of the national situation and is the decision maker in any adjustments to AP testing dates. They do have updates posted on their website, with no decisions being made as of now.
I'll keep you updated and let you know if there are any changes, but as of right now our AP test is still on May 5th. To help us keep on this schedule I am going to post some activities and encourage you to keep on the following reading schedule for the book outlines (posted on Google Classroom - Classwork)
1. Tuesday, 3/17 --- Chapter 9 - Economic Development
2. Monday, 3, 23 --- Chapter 11 - Industrial Economic Geography
3. Friday, 3/27 ---Chapter 12 - Service Economic Geography
Supplemental Economic Development Readings/ Activities (posted in Google Classroom - Classwork)
1. Reading on More Developed Countries
2. Webquest on Developing Countries
* I made a made these assignments open to discussion so we can create a class list of the traits of More Developed and Less Developed Countries.
I'll let you know via google classroom/ my website if anything changes. I hope you and your families stay safe and if you are looking for a fun 9 minute distraction I have attached a podcast from NPR on an Economist's interpretation of Thanos & Malthusian theory. Enjoy and feel free to post responses to the podcast on Google Classroom.
Best wishes,
Ms. Ramm
